Stop by the MIT Museum on March 14th between 12pm and 3:45pm to experience some hands on, fun, and engaging mathematics & artful experiences and games. Â Exhibits will be run by high school students from YPP and staff from the MIT museum.

Pi Day Art Contest
Calling all middle and high school students interested in the intersection of math, art, and social justice!
Help the Young People's Project and the MIT
Museum celebrate Pi Day: In Living Color while also celebrating and honoring the work of math artist, John Sims.
Your Task:
Taking inspiration from the work of John Sims, create a piece of math art (music, visual art, digital art, poetry, or performance art) that explores social change.
Eligibility:
Open to middle and high school students
Deadline:
Submit all entries by March 1, 2026
Awards:
Winners announced and prizes distributed on Pi Day March 14, 2026, 3:00 PM at the MIT Museum, Gambrill Center, 314 Main Street, Cambridge, MA.
