This #GivingTuesday, young people are leading a different kind of math. Will you back them?

🌀 Add Your Voice to the Equation

Your gift supports joyful, near-peer math programs for students who have been pushed to the margins — turning “I’m not a math person” into “I can do this.”

Across the country, too many young people — especially Black, Latino, immigrant, and low-income students — are told early on that they’re “not math people.” That label shapes what classes they take, what futures they imagine, and how much power they feel they have in the world.

The Young People’s Project (YPP) exists to change that story.

Your Giving Tuesday gift helps to:

Recruit, train, and compensate new Math Literacy Workers (we are on our way to a 1,000 MLWs national goal by 2030)

Bring joyful, youth-led math experiences to more students in under-resourced schools and communities

Strengthen partnerships with educators and families so this work can grow and endure

When you give to YPP on Giving Tuesday, you are not just funding “math programs.” You are backing young people who are reimagining what math can feel like — for themselves, their peers, and the communities they love.
