Data For Better Schools, is a working group collaboration between YPP Cambridge and local stake holders.

Its primary project, "Caste in the Classroom" explores some ways of how America's racialized caste system is implicated in the poor educational outcomes of children of African descent.

 The Young People’s Project (YPP) is pleased to announce that the short documentary, “Caste in the Classroom” is an official selection in the Documentary category at the 12th Annual BronzeLens Film Festival. The film was directed by Janet Moses, and written by Janet, Leslie Burnetta and a group of Math Literacy Workers from YPP as a result of two and a half years of discussion and research.
