  • I’m really interested in your organization and also the Algebra Project. I’ve worked with Breakthrough which mentors students to help them get to college. They were less successful in the area of mathematics, so its really exciting to see your focus in this area. We work in the informal education arena, partnering with museums, nature centers and other places where the public can go to learn something (why not have it be some math). I read the MathTalk blog post in Connected Learning by Omowale Moses. It seems like a great concept. If you have a newsletter or other network, I’d like to join so we can possibly find some ways to collaborate.
