What brought you to Atlanta AP/YPP? How long have you been with them?
I first heard about the AtlantaAPYPP from Ms. Tonya Clarke, who I previously worked with on the I’m W.O.KE project and what really got me engaged was the idea of making math fun for everyone. I particularly love math and it was nice to see other people who weren't so fond of it, enjoy it too. I have been with AtlantaAPYPP for about 6 months now.

What have you learned from Atlanta AP/YPP?
I learned that there are many ways to teach math and that they’re different ways someone can enjoy math. I learn that you can change someone’s attitude and willingness to learn math, just by making it fun and most importantly that practice makes perfect, so what you put in, is what you will get in the end. To be more thorough, some more things I learned was Mobius Code and more about what it means for something to be mutually exclusive.

What do you enjoy the most from Atlanta AP/YPP?
What I enjoyed most from AtlantaAPYPP is seeing the joy on a student’s face when they understand something that they have been struggling with or when we played the Flagway games.
