My name is Jarris Hayes I am 27 years old i have been working with the Young People's Project since i was in the  7th grade at Brinkley Middle School. I have also worked with the Alegbra Project when I got out of High School, I have leaned and experinced a of things by working with these two companies, like how to facilatate and conduct workshops around the flagway game and a number of other games. I have worked close with Bob Moses, when I worked with the Alegbra Project and also stayed in Cambridge, MA and particapted in there summer programs. I have met and became friends with a lot of unqiue people dealing with these two project. Now i work with the media team for the Jackson, MS site were we flim all of our work dealing with our High School Students who have went through training. We also let the High School Students get hands on experince filming there workshops and even make there on imovie using our imac our in office space.

I am a YPP High School math literacy worker. I attend Lanier High School in Jackson,MS. I am currently in the 12th grade. My favorite subject is science. When i graduate i plan to attend Jackson State University. I enjoy dancing, singing, rapping and basketball. I am a friendly and easy person to get along with. YPP has embraced me completely as a family. They have taught me that anything i want in life i have to strive to get it.
