Im Kevin Edmondson a.k.a. Baby Cal from Jackson, Mississippi. I have been apart of YPP since January of 1998. During high school YPP was all me and most of my closest friends and relatives did. YPP was work, our social life, and our education. Being apart of YPP and the Algebra Project has given me the blessing of being able to travel and see a lot of the great things in this country. In my travels I also see the things that we fall short on as a country. I feel YPP has and always will be my opportunity to better my community, my state , and my country. One of the things YPP has done for me that I am most grateful for is allowing me to live in Cambridge and Chicago and build relationships with members of YPP from diverse backgrounds and cultures. The education that has come with working with YPP, the life long friends i have made, and the wonderful places I have seen while doing the work make YPP in my opinion highly recommendable.
