Hi my name is Ashley Castor and I am 17 years old. I was born & raised in Cambridge. I will be a senior at Saint Clement High School this fall and I plan to attend college next year. My parents are both from Haiti and I have been blessed to have the opportunity to visit many times. During my visits I have seen the poverty and lack of education. In Haiti not everyone has the opportunity to learn, If you want to learn you have to go out your way while here everything is given to us and we take it for granted.
YPP has been a great experience this summer. In my opinion the best feeling in the world is to know that you helped you someone in anyway or form especially children because they are our future.
