What brought me to YPP?                                                                                                                                                  What brought me to YPP was the personal connections. One of the daughters of Bob Moses told me about YPP and scheduled an interview with the organization. They happily took me in and I have been with the program since then.

What have you learned from YPP?                                                                                                                                      The most I've learned from YPP is patience with children. I never had to be as patient as I am now because the kids we do work with are more often than not troubled. So we have to be patient, over the course I have been here, I've learned to cooperate and be patient with the children.

What could you do now that you haven’t done before?                                                                                                      To discipline children is the biggest thing I have learned. It's not always the right thing to discipline a child with taking them out of the room or threatening them. Instead you talk them through it and get a better understanding of their thought process. So if it occurs you can make a better judgement of the situation.

What do you enjoy most about YPP?                                                                                                                                What I enjoy most about YPP is the interaction with the children because you get a better sense of what goes on with the kids and get a personal connection with them. That's what I enjoy most being able to make a connection with a student and starts to enjoy what we teach to them.
