Spring 2011 YPP Eldorado Highlights:

YPP-Eldo has been working on several projects including learning/teaching Scratch, developing MLW leaders, and developing more in depth mathematical knowledge.  We are on a campaign to bring programming to the next level for the MLWs and outreach participants.  This next level involves three valuable steps 1) overcoming anxiety around mathematics 2) developing a core standard for student behavior 3) developing a protocol for leadership outside of YPP (including organizing a community service project for the town).  These three aspects of programming are being developed concurrently and MLW leaders, Megan Mayberry, Tasha Givens, and Holiday Fulton have volunteered to help with the project over the summer.

YPP-Eldo would like to highlight leader Brian Pinkins for his service and unwavering commitment to the work of YPP.  Brian has not missed a single day of work.  He is always willing to do whatever needs to be done and his work always reflects the great thought and effort he has put into completing the task.  Thank you Brian Pinkins, YPP-Eldo appreciates your time and efforts.
