We cannot afford to take things for granted; we cannot take our health or our education for granted...
For a long time I took my education for granted, I was unable to understand how important it was to become educated. As a young person I was taking my life for granted, going on with my life unaware of the struggle people face. I was taking my health for granted. However, now is the time to create change “by any means necessary”. A message of hope, unity and pride must be sent out to the masses, we must overcome. Lets not take things for granted because you only get one chance to live. One of my favorite quotes comes from the movie “The Sandlot”. Benny, the main character of the film is visited by George Herman Ruth aka the Great Bambino and he states
“Heroes are remembered, but Legends never die, follow your heart kid”
