Spencer Bowley
Hey y'all! My name is Spencer Bowley, and I'm excited to be a part of the YPP family this summer.
I graduated from Murrah High School here in Jackson in 2007, and now attend Princeton University, where next year I will complete my degree in politics. I am interning here at YPP this summer because although I believe I was able to get a good education in the Jackson Public Schools, I know that a lot of students are not helped by the system. Since I have siblings still attending the public schools here, I feel that my desire to help reform public education in the interest of all is not only a civic duty, but also a personal one. I hope to learn a lot from working with the YPP, and also to help move our students toward a brighter and more successful future.
