My name is Andrea Clay. I am a summer intern for YPP assisting with the work on Quality Education as a Constitutional Right (QECR).

I was born in Texas but I’ve spent most of my life in New York. This September I will begin my senior year of college at Princeton University where I concentrate in English language and literature. I am very excited to be working with the Young People’s Project this summer. I look forward to learning more about YPP’s operations and becoming more familiar with education policy in Mississippi. I hope to be a part of the solution alongside YPP’s staff and to make some meaningful progress towards equitable education.
