Ypp @ HC has begun to make tremendous strides as a result of the on going efforts of the Ypp core team. We have blossomed into a fully operational site.  We are the only after school program at the Donovan middle school that works with 6th, 7th and 8th grades.  50 students consistently participated in our program throughout the fall semester.  The CMLWs built rapport with their students and were able to efficiently teach the Flagway curriculum.  In 8 weeks we successfully held our first ever semi-annual math bash and Advisory board meeting fallowing. With the tremendous effort of our staff and supporters both events were a major success.  Many different ideas were presented at the advisory board to keep the site sustainable after the site director graduates.  As a young site we need to develop a sound structure that adapts to the campus and community needs.  A sound structure will guarantee that Ypp @ HC continues to improve the lives of our middle school students.  It has been an amazing journey with many different trials and tribulations however, I am happy to say that all the hard work has paid off.
