Hey Young People,

My name is Antwan Gonsalves and i've been committed to the Young People's Project for the past 10-12 years.

I met Omo and his family back in 1992, they were more like next door neighbors to me. Omo was more than a friend to me than anything when we first met, it was open doors and opportunities waiting for me. Omo gave me the opportunity as an official young person at the time to help build one of the first Young People's Project site in Cambridge, Massachusetts. In due time I later became one of the first math literacy workers, working in the Cambridge area facilitating workshops as well as attending several workshops within the states. I also got the opportunities to travel, meet new people, and tell my story. Working with the Young People's Project was more than an experience for me and still is because the work is progressing and the young people are expanding everyday!!!
