Find your dreams come true

Coming of Age through Grassroots Organizing

Find your dreams come true

This is my song

And no one can take it away...

This is my song
And no one can take it away
It's been so long, but now you're here,
here to stay…
And I wonder if you know what it means
To find your dreams come true

This is my song
And no one can make it a lie
It's been so long since someone
Could make me cry
And I wonder if you know what it means
To laugh as tears go by

I may not always sing in tune
And sometimes you don't hear me
But you don't have to be near me
To know that I'm singing

This is my song
And nothing can make it die…

It's been so long and it's stronger
I know why
And I wonder if you really, really know
That as long as I live I will sing my song for you

I was told that a journey of a thousand miles begins with one single step.  But in which direction do you take that step?  We have no way of knowing what our final path will be, however, we have the obligation to help others while on our journey.  We are unaware of the obstacles that may appear through out our journey, the path is winding and the terrain is ever changing.
We are constantly seeking for something that will allow us to feel complete. We are relentlessly judged and attacked by society that we begin to lose pieces of ourselves. We are convinced that we must fit perfectly into labels chosen by society. As a result many have no understanding of what it means to have their dreams come true.  We are apart of a system that exploits others to gain materialistic or emotional value.   When we dream we are living in another section of reality. We are connecting to a different source of energy that allows us to fight on with our daily struggles. We dream in hopes that one day they become a reality. We must never let our dreams fade away, our dreams are the hopes for the future.
